Time Emits provides calendar resources and ministry via the Internet to anyone with a computer connection. Our purpose is to study ancient calendars in a Holy worship sense with scientific manner that preserves ethnic history and religious values. Time Emits Calendar Research encourages visitors to learn about calendars of all cultures. Internet and print resources are utilized to reach a wider audience.
The flagship product at timeemits.com is Ages of Adam. Ages of Adam is a free read for visitors. The book is published in MS Word at the website. Ages of Adam is sold as a download file in Adobe pdf print and e-book formats. Ages of Adam is subtitled Ancient Calendars of the Holy Bible. The oldest calendars: Jewish, Egyptian and Mesoamerican are the background calendar systems that help teach time recorded by Genesis. Business purposes are to encourage consumer sales and donations for time related products. Ministry objectives are designed to teach the Holy Bible and inspire readers. Advancements in calendar information emphasize Judeo-Christian spirituality.

The next phase of timeemits.com will be to develop power point presentations for various sections of Ages of Adam. This Web Development Life Cycle expansion will encompass multimedia-recorded audio and video for Windows based operating systems. Graphics and animation will be designed for current Internet Explorer browser applications with a 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The content rich, public access site will use a least common denominator (LCD) approach to planning and testing. Compatibility with Internet Explorer 4.0 and above will be tested. Limited testing will check compatibility on Netscape and other browsers. We will refrain from requiring specialized downloads. No Real Time or Quick Time plug-ins are necessary at this time.
The index home page location will provide at least one text or graphics link to the power point overview. Once there, visitors will be given a menu choice of specific presentations that correspond to each section of Ages of Adam. The menu will also include reverse links to home, the e-book table of contents and identified e-book sections.
The overview page will follow a webbed site layout off the home page. Under each section presentation, the hierarchical web site layout will include linear layout up to 6 slides. Each slide of the presentation will include up to 7 bullets of information, a choice to listen to or skip the Window Media Player recording. My voice recordings will key upon the bullet information and be approximately 4-7 minutes in length. Some additional animation links may be included. Escape links back to home and to supplemental web information will be provided at the end of each presentation.

The Adobe pdf e-book and print media files are concurrently being developed. Rend Graphics.com provides commercial text placement and graphics illustrations. Both black and white for book print and color web illustrations are being improved.
Testing
Ages of Adam opens with the book cover design exactly as the book will be marketed by bookstores and publisher affiliations. The pen and paper viewing pattern is best suited for the target book audience. The Time Emits title page, About Time Emits, Table of Contents Outline and Table of Figures follow in successive order. Visitors can immediately jump to their area of interest. Ages of Adam and Holy of Holies are rather long 2+ Mbyte file. The Table of Contents TOC page and outline on the home page make for provide initial page load and better choices for visitors. Resident testing on the 2.4 Ghz development machine has shown the e-book to load in about 30 seconds with DSL broadband. Other speed tests will include dial-up 28K/56K modems. Netscape and a few other browsers have proven to be compatible. Link functional testing and credit card affiliations allow easy purchases.
