How to Use Bag Hoop Example    Grass, Leaves, Lawn or Clippings

Bag Hoop inserts 1-2 inches below the drawstring of a Husky 30-gallon blue recycle bag.  Open the bag and expand fully with air to open the folds.  Spread the bag out flat on the ground without pulling the drawstring.  Fold back the bag top layer 2-3 inches to expose the drawstring and bottom layer.  Place one cushion grip band directly on the lower bag layer at the 6 o’clock position.  Put foot on top of this grip band to hold the bag in place.  Using thumb and forefingers pull the bag up to stretch over the right grip band at the 2 o’clock position.  Repeat for the left side grip band at the 10 o’clock position.  Adjust the remaining portion of the loose bag material over Bag Hoop so that the bag fits snugly and securely around the entire Bag Hoop.  Bag Hoop should set 1-2 inches just inside the drawstring near the mouth opening.  Some bags use thinner plastic or may stretch more according to manufacturer.  In this example, we chose the Husky 30-gallon blue recycle bag.

Rake debris into a pile as you normally do.  Lay the prepared bag flat on the ground with Bag Hoop on top, open end facing up.  Rake leaves or other debris over the opening and mound up for best results.  Lift Bag Hoop and allow the contents to settle.  Tilt Bag Hoop by lifting up farthest side from pile while pushing the near side down and toward the pile.  Scoop or rake any remaining leaves into Bag Hoop.  Pull up on Bag Hoop as needed to settle contents and completely fill the bag.  Stand the bag upright and top off.  Hold the edge of the bag and release Bag Hoop.  Pull up on the drawstrings and tie a knot.  Congratulations, you are ready to fill your next bag with help from Bag Hoop.
